The Idea
Currently, the only way to go into orbit is by rocket, which as described in details in my Spaceballoon section are extremly expensive and difficult to do. My Spaceballoon idea offers a revolutionary way to go inot suborbital hight, designed for the purpose of specetourism. Tornadocraft is another idea for launching satellites orbit and will not be suitable to carry humen. It is only a theorical idea, I am not sure it will work. However, if it works then it should reduce the energy requirement of launching satellites into orbit.
Method 1 - Tornadocraft
Tornados, like lightening and earthquakes have a huge amount of untamed power that can be utilize to launch rockets into space. I do not think anyone has ever even thought about this idea so this might be the very first one. We can see that tornados are ideal power source for launching a spacecraft if they can be tamed. They have more than enough power to do the job, they are perfectly position to go from ground into high altitude and their shape is ideal for surfing a spacecraft. This design is very raw (Fig. 3). The spacecraft is placed on top of tornadocraft [1] in a aerodynamic container than detaches. The main engine is place under the craft in the middle [2]. A very long and very strong beam extends from the engine to the edge of the tornado [3]. A specially design blades are used to surf the tornado [4]. Main rocket is used to blast the craft into orbit [5]. A ballast is used to lower the center of gravity of the craft [7] connect to the engine with a ballast beam[6]
Method 2 - Tornadosurfer
Tornadosurfer is another way to do the same thing. A special plane is designed to surf tornado from inside. This will be more powerful way but riskier and would be much more difficult to control than Tornadocraft.
