The Problem

GPS navigation has revolutionised our lives, specially the transport industry and taxi services. However, without a GPS navigation system on your phone, it is easy to get lost. Another problem this solution solves is locating people via a GPS App.

Solution

Every road and location has a sign displaying the road name and postcode (Fig 1). Simply by adding the Latitude and Longitude to the sign, which costs very little, it would make it possible to work out where you are and how far you are from your desitnation.

Direction

You can tell if you heading towards the right direction. All you will need is the coordinates of your destination.

Locationg People

The other very useful advantage of this system is locating people. One big problem everyone faces when someone calls them to pick them up, including taxis, is to know where they exactly are. By standing by any sign and reading the coordinates the driver using standard GPS will enter those number into the app and it the app will find the destination instantly. This will provide the fastest way to locate people.

Better than postcodes

Every country has their own postcode system. In UK some postcodes are not accurate and do cover certain areas. Using coordinate system will makes it easy to located any building accuratly, even if it is not in redisential area.
